The College of Education & Human Development at the 滔博体育 and the public school districts are cooperatively involved in the Dean's Future Scholars program to recruit diverse students into teacher education. The goal of DFS is to increase the number of low-income, first-generation students graduating from high school, gaining access to higher education, and entering a career in the field of education.

Lemelson Foundation Elementary Education Math & Science Master's Cohort
The goal of the Lemelson STEM program is to develop expert teachers in STEM education, emphasizing teaching math and science and integrating engineering and technology concepts. This program is for K-8 educators and is generously funded by the Lemelson Foundation.

The 滔博体育 Adolescent Literacy Network is a coalition of cross-agency partners building and bridging systems to help adolescents become fully literate individuals who are able to reach their goals.

The purpose of the 滔博体育 Dual Sensory Impairment Project is to enhance the educational services provided to children and youth, birth through 21 years, with vision and hearing impairments. The project provides statewide technical assistance to a variety of key stakeholders.

The 滔博体育 Mathematics Project engages in cutting edge research to improve mathematics and science instruction in 滔博体育 statewide and beyond. The initiative works within the education system of 滔博体育 and has state and national collaborators.

The 滔博体育 Multi-Tiered Systems of Supports (MTSS) Project is a state-wide project that assists state and local educational agencies to install, implement, scale, and sustain durable implementation of multi-tiered academic and behavior frameworks to support student and school needs.

Northern 滔博体育 Math and Technology Camp
Our mission is to support and encourage students from varied backgrounds to increase their knowledge, skills, and confidence in mathematics, as well as technology use for mathematics learning. The program provides learning opportunities, resources, and participation in a supportive community.

Rural Education Outreach
The College of Education & Human Development Rural Education Initiative seeks to encourage talented K-12 educators in rural 滔博体育 school districts to pursue Rural Alternative Licensure (RAL). Students selected for this program receive a stipend to complete the program.
